I recently purchased this navel ring and I've had great results! I am a skirt/pant size 8-12 and have had no problem wearing it. Despite what the other review says, the chain is actually detachable. If you are a smaller size, with two pairs of pliers you can easily detach enough chain to fit your waist or even add some if needed. It is not a difficult task and anyone can do it as the links are not welded together (this can be a problem though because if you tug on it too much, the links can separate and it's annoying to put them back together lol but it helps in the case of making it larger or smaller). If you look for the opening in the connecting links, you just twist with the pliers and it comes right off. Twist back to close it. If you purchase this and need any help, you're welcome to contact me for further questions. There's a good maybe two and a half feet of chain and I've seen this same type of chain in craft stores such as Michael's if you love this chain but need more length. As for the rolling of the chain that the other buyer has experienced consistently, I haven't had this happen to me unless I'm rolling around or horse playing with my dogs and cat. Other than that it stays right where it's supposed to. This rolling is something that is bound to happen with any kind of product design like this. So my recommendation if you want it to sit still is if you have charms or heavier crystal beading you can attach it to the drop down chains and the weight will help keep it still. As there are bigger connecting loops at the bottom for the crystals to rest in, attaching charms or other beading is a snap.
Overall, this is a great product in my opinion! It's one of the prettiest chain designs for navel rings (at least that I've seen and I scoured the internet for one before I bought this one) and it's definitely something that can be altered to fit smaller sizes and it has the capacity for experimentation in the design. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend if you're eyeing it, to grab one for yourself! I don't know why I didn't snag one earlier!

I had originally inquired about whether the chain was detachable from the belly ring. JKL reponded that "most of the belly ring dangle chains are detachable from the belly ring." I even referenced the item number and the seller said, "this one is dettachable." Based off of this info, I purchased it. When I got it, the belly ring is attached to the chain and is NOT dettachable. I don't know whether English is the seller's second language but I am quite disappointed. To top it off, this chain is NOT for size 0 petite people. Let me clarify. Although the chain is adjustable in length, the smallest it will go is way too big for my hips, and the chain sags and pulls on the belly piercing. In addition, although the chain design is unique, it will roll and tangle while you are wearing it, (unless you are a plastic mannequin like the seller's model). I would not recommend this product to anybody.
